Brennans Bread “Be Good” Competition

April - May 2016

  1. The promoter of this competition is Brennans Bread Limited, a company owned by JOSEPH BRENNAN BAKERIES, Walkinstown, Dublin 12 who has sole responsibility for all elements of this competition.
  2. There will be 1 prize winner of this competition who will receive a luxury picnic hamper, picnic blanket and a €2000 voucher for Eurocycles.
  3. Anyone who enters this competition by filling in the required details on the Brennans Bread website or Facebook page between midday Monday 11th April 2016 and midnight Sunday 15th May 2016 will automatically be entered into the draw for the prize, which will take place on Monday 16th May 2016. Winner will be contact by Brennans Bread via email.
  4. The competition will be moderated and only legitimate entries will be accepted for entry. No inappropriate entries will be counted.
  5. The prize is strictly non-transferable.
  6. There is no cash or other prize alternative. In the event of cancellations there will not be a refund of the prize value.
  7. The prize winner will be selected by a Brennans Bread representative or one of its agents as the best entry to ‘Finish the sentence: Today I am going to be good by…’. The competition is not open to Brennans Bread employees or their immediate families.
  8. The prize winner will be chosen on Monday 16th May 2016 and Brennans Bread or one of its agents will notify the prize winner by means of an email. The prize winner will have until 6pm on Wednesday 18th May 2016 to acknowledge acceptance of the prize. If a prize winner does not acknowledge acceptance by this time it will be deemed a forfeit of the prize and a new alternative prize winner of the competition will be selected from all remaining valid entries to the competition.
  9. In the event of any dispute regarding the rules, conduct or the results of the competition, the decision of the promoter will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  10. Acceptance of the prize by the prize winner constitutes permission to use the relevant prize winner's name, home town and likeness for purposes of advertising, promotion or publicity in any media without additional compensation and the prize winner agrees to take part in such related promotional activities as the promoter may require. Personal details will not be disclosed to the public without prior consent of the winner.
  11. The promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend a competition and/or vary competition rules at any time without prior notice.
  12. Participation in the competition denotes acceptance of these terms and conditions and any additional competition specific terms and conditions, which may be advertised.
  13. The promoter does not accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem in any network, system, server, provider, delivery service or otherwise which may result in entries being lost or not properly registered or recorded and contestants here by waive any claim whatsoever for any losses, costs, damages and expenses arising from any such problems.
  14. Entrant details will not be used for any other marketing purposes other than those selected and will not be disclosed to any third parties by the promoter or any of its agents.
  15. Entrants must be at least 18 years of age.
  16. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Ireland and are subject to the jurisdiction of the Irish Courts.
