Welcome to Brennans Dough It Yourself
We're excited to launch the 2025/26 Dough It Yourself Challenge!
This fun, creative cooking competition invites Key Stage 2 pupils across Northern Ireland to turn leftover bread into dough-licious dishes. From sweet to savoury, pupils will showcase teamwork, imagination, and food sustainability skills while competing for amazing prizes.
All lesson files are in a zipped folder, be sure to unzip the files once downloaded to access them.

Submissions Now Open
Teachers can now submit entries for their class by uploading recipes and photos of their pupils’ creations using the official Submission Form. Entries close on Friday 28 November 2025, with the top four schools going head-to-head in the live cook-off at W5 Belfast on Tuesday 27 January 2026.
